Michael strives to treat every person he sees like family. He is committed to following the best practices of dentistry, while continuously learning the new techniques and equipment to better serve his patients in a comfortable atmosphere. Michael has extensive training in full mouth dentistry allowing him to treat most dental concerns.

Outside of dentistry, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Alyssa and three kids, Benjamin, Henry, and Amelia. His hobbies include sports, camping, and boating. He grew up in northeastern Wisconsin near the shores of Lake Michigan, spending a lot of his time outdoors.

Dr. Poplars attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison obtaining a degree in Biochemistry. Post graduation he did laboratory research in Madison for several years before going to dental school at Tufts University in Boston.

He is active in the local community volunteering for the village fire department and serving on the NWTC Dental Hygiene advisory committee.
